Last fall season, a good number of daffodils were planted on the Medford Campus to brighten up various locations, including outside of the Fitness Center and Arts and Social Wing. The daffodil which is virtually synonymous with spring is often thought of as symbolizing rebirth and new beginnings. Though their formal Latin botanical name is narcissus, daffodils are sometimes called jonquils. The two names are used interchangeably. You will find and enjoy a variety of daffodils throughout the Arboretum on both Campuses.
